We have had the strangest March on record, days of high 70s and the last two over 80 degrees. She certainly looks to stay the lamb for the rest of the month.
It seems the cats are entering a new period in their battle. Lately, Jake doesn’t just run away every time he sees Simon, sometimes he stops and faces him down and hisses. On a couple of occasions, they have actually occupied the same space for minutes: Once on my chair (Jake on my lap and Simon on the arm of the chair.)The second time was in the window, which was open to catch the breeze. Jake was in the window and Simon jumped on the couch and sat next to him in the window. Nothing happened, no hissing etc., but then when Jake jumped down, Simon started to chase him and the truce was over.
